Sports

In college, I was an active member of the institute basketball team and went on to represent IITM in my first year at the 52nd Inter IIT Sports Meet. In school, I was a member of the chess and football teams. Our chess team placed third in CBSE south-zone regionals and went to place sixth in CBSE nationals in 2012.

Dramatics

I have been interested in theatre since I joined the drama club in my school. In college, I starred as the lead actor in Aakriti Bisht, an original play and was part of the production team for a production of The Nether.

Cultural fests and Model United Nations

In school, I was an active member of the Model United Nations (MUN) team. An as accomplished MUN-er with experience in MUNs across Chennai (SSN MUN, PSBB MUN, CHE MUN), I chaired the United Nations Environment Programme committee in VMUN, our intra-school MUN. As a part of the word games club and the institute contingent in college, I have represented and won accolades at intra-college and inter-college cultural fests. I was a consistent member of the dance team for our annual showcase in school for 8 years.

Music

I am a trained Carnatic veena player (~7 years of lessons) with experience in performing at prestigious venues like Kapaleeshwarar Temple. I have taken western classical piano lessons and performed in a concert at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
