Mission and Vision

I strongly believe that science is for everybody. I’m committed to making STEM spaces more accessible.

To this end, my outreach spans conducting workshops, joining panel discussions, giving talks, and leading science communication initiatives.

Virtual Panel Discussion: Computing for Social Good

As a panellist, I brought the perspective of a biologist employing computing to the discussion.

Commentator – International Genetically Engineered Machine (iGEM)

An a member of this initiative to improve the experience of participants and synthetic biology enthusiasts, I curated 8 projects to showcase. I highlighted the projects and achievements of Indian Teams at iGEM to an audience of over 6500 participants.

Outreach & Public Engagement

As a part of the iGEM team I have popularised our flagship science communication initiative, The Language Project, and conducted game-based learning sessions in schools across Chennai. I have conducted many workshops as the head of the Biotech Research Club in college.
